Skills
My Programming Playground
I'm a Python enthusiast (still have a long journey tho), but I also juggle other languages like R, MATLAB, Fortran, and C++ depending on the necessity. I also play with markdown or html in my jupyther notebooks. Think of me as a coding chameleon—always ready to dust off old skills and learn new ones.
Datasets and Data Management
Wrangled all sorts of dataset formats and played data detective on different servers and platforms. Currently exploring the Parquet file format and its advantages for data management, as well as the implementation of FAIR principles, with a focus on interoperability among systems.
Applications
I have a soft spot for Jupyter Notebooks, where I can mix code, data, and documentation. Recently I started using GitHub for version control and collaboration. I can use office as well, but I prefer to use LaTeX for my reports and papers.
Data Visualization
I love turning data into visual stories by finding the right balance between colors and shapes. I use Python libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly to create engaging visualizations and interactive plots. It's like painting with data, where each plot is a piece of art!
